By keeping up to date with the latest the industry has to offer, a developer can better stay ahead of their competition and use their skills to provide useful and innovative software solutions. With that being said, the question is: What channel to follow? This is a choice you will be able to do progressively as you keep the habit of watching some of them. Personally, I will list five channels not in a particular order that are worth a try especially if you are doing Web Development.

Getting into the habit of Following their YouTube channel is a great way for me to stay informed with the latest tutorials and programming topics. They also offer helpful guides, online courses, and project ideas to help practicing your coding skills. With the wealth of information FreeCodeCamp.org provides, you can definitely learn from experienced and successful developers to quickly improve your skills. Following their Youtube channel will allow you as a developer to stay up to date on the latest tips, tutorials, and educational content targeted at developers of all levels and can help them gain more confidence in their skills.
The third one is: Traversy Media (Brad Traversy)
Traversy Media is a great YouTube channel to follow if you are looking to expand your web development skills. The last one in this list is: Webdev simplified
Following the Web Dev Simplified YouTube channel would be beneficial to anyone who wants to learn more about web development. The channel offers a variety of educational and informative videos on topics related to web development, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website design fundamentals and more. The videos are also made taking into account different levels of the viewers; beginners, intermediates and experts. There is something for everyone, and the videos are easy to understand and take away the complexity of the topics, allowing viewers to understand the concepts easier. The channel also offers advice, best practices and more to help viewers become better web developers, so it is a valuable resource to have.
In conclusion, following a YouTube channel is certainly not the only habit a software developer can practice to learn and to stay up to date with the newest technologies. In this post, I mentioned 5 channels that I think a developer can consider to learn or improve his coding skills. However, there are ton of others you will find as you go along. Some of them may even be more relevant than those I presented today, but I picked those 5 off the top of my head to give you somewhere to start.
